About the Role
As a District Sales Manager, you'll play a key leadership role in driving sales growth, coaching a team of Sales Consultants, and building strong relationships with clients. This is an exciting opportunity to make a direct impact on business success while developing and mentoring a talented sales team.
What You'll Do
Lead & Inspire: Provide strategic direction and day-to-day leadership to Sales Consultants (SCs) to ensure they meet and exceed sales goals.
Sales Strategy & Execution: Set clear objectives by forecasting sales and developing annual sales quotas for the assigned district and territories.
Coaching & Development: Mentor and support Sales Consultants through ongoing training, field visits, and performance feedback.
Client Engagement: Partner with SCs to maintain strong relationships with existing clients and drive new business growth.
Collaborative Leadership: Work closely with internal teams, including operations and merchandising, to ensure seamless customer service.
Performance Management: Monitor sales activities, analyze data, and implement strategies to optimize revenue and profitability.
Recruit & Build Talent: Play a key role in hiring, motivating, and developing a high-performing sales team.
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, or Business preferred.
3-5 years of sales management experience in a B2B environment preferred.
2-3 years of field sales experience.
Experience managing a remote sales team is a plus.
Skills & Abilities
Strong leadership and coaching skills with the ability to motivate and develop a sales team.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
Results-driven mindset with a focus on achieving and exceeding sales targets.
Ability to analyze sales data and develop actionable strategies.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook); experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems is a plus.
High level of accountability, problem-solving skills, and a proactive approach.
Work Environment & Travel
This role may be based in a traditional office or a remote home-office setup, depending on the assigned territory.
Regular travel within the assigned district to meet with sales consultants, customers, and prospects.
Some overnight travel may be required for company meetings, training, and client events.
Must have a valid driver's license and maintain a driving record that meets company standards.
