We are seeking someone who has a passion for providing outstanding guest service to work as the Doorperson, to be the first person to greet and welcome all guests entering the hotel.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Will act as the first point of contact with the guest.
• Will greet the guest in a professional courteous manner.
• Will assist the guest by opening the car door and helping to carry the luggage into the hotel.
• Will also hail a cab for the guest when leaving the hotel.
• May also act as the concierge when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required;
• Friendly smile, professional appearance;
• Experience in the hospitality industry preferred;
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds;
• Excellent communication skills.

Working Conditions

Will be standing, walking, pushing and pulling carts, and lifting luggage.

Physical Requirements

• Exert physical effort in transporting 50 pounds
• Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas
• Reach 6 feet
• Remain in stationary position for 1 hour throughout work shift
• Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding
