Job Description

Major International financial institution seeks Operational Assistant.

Position Overview:

Assists in tasks concerning credit and operational risk management, prepares Customer / Account Profiles (existing and new accounts), processes and maintains approvals, legal documentations, and other documents for the Dept., and engages in various administrative tasks.  Assists with BSA/AML, corporate and FATCA compliance for the Dept.

Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Management of Important Documents, contract renewal and maturity date tracking of the Dept's agreements. 
2. Assists in maintaining trading systems accesses and permissions.
3. Reviews and processes invoices / subscriptions and prepares budget forecast for management.
4. Assists and organizes meetings for the Dept.
5. Performs administrative tasks such as managing documents, applications, procedures and policies, and the New Product Due Diligence process. 
6. Assists with internal audits, FRB / NYSDFS examinations, and other audit matters.  
7. Prepares reports on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
8. Assists with KYC matters of bank’s clients and counter-parties
9. Assists with and performs FATCA tax due diligence for bank’s clients and counter-parties
10. Abides by all compliance related policies and procedures.
11. Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by management.

Knowledge, Skill, and Abilities:

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
2. Proficient in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Word, and Outlook). 
3. Knowledge and experience of FX, Derivatives, and other market products and services preferred.
4. Prior work experience in a financial institution preferred.
5. Strong communication skills and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to process information (both numbers and descriptive) accurately. Highly attentive to detail.
7. Strong organization skills.
8. Strong multi-tasking ability.
