Location Description:

The Flamingo Resort & Spa is a mid-century marvel in The Valley of the Moon. The buildings, rendered with natural materials and iconic angular silhouettes, are the work of master architect Homer A. Rissman. Set on a 10-acre campus, it is an incomparable property for both its city access and sense of complete retreat.

Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Yoga Instructor. Someone who highly motivated, customer focused and has a passion for teaching yoga. The Yoga Instructor is responsible for leading multiple fitness classes that range in variety and levels. They will guide guests along their fitness journey while they escape at our resort.

Your Role:

• Perform yoga poses in precise alignment and use the correct terminology
• Safely guide members and guests through the flow of the practice
• Be knowledgeable in the implementation of the chakra system and mindful meditation
• Teach various yoga postures, breathing exercises, and meditation techniques to improve their physical, mental, and emotional health
• Provide demostrations, verbal cues, and hands-on direction to assist with proper poses and breathing patterns
• Provide advice on lifestyle issues such as mind control and diet
• Provide, teach and facilitate individual and group exercise instruction and workouts for members and guests
• Ensure safe exercise practice through observation, correction, assistance and answering questions
• Ensure current knowledge of exercise techniques and trends
• Conduct opening and closing procedures, as needed
• Greet guests and respond to guest inquiries and service issues in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
• Maintain cleanliness of work area including, but not limited to, the facility, locker rooms, studios, machines and equipment in accordance with federal, state, local and company standards
• Assist in monitoring facility use to ensure guest safety

Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $17.87/Hr. - $17.87/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
