Job Title: QA Tester Finance Domain

Experience Level: 8 years Plus

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced QA Tester with a strong background in the finance domain. The ideal candidate will have expertise in web-based UI testing, automation testing, and data validation, with a particular focus on Revenue Dashboards and Profit & Loss (P&L) reports. This role requires a passion for quality assurance, strong analytical skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform end-to-end testing of web-based financial applications, ensuring the functionality, usability, and performance of Revenue Dashboards, P&L reports, and other financial tools.

Develop and execute comprehensive test cases and test plans for both manual and automated testing scenarios.

Identify, document, and track bugs using industry-standard tools (e.g., JIRA).

Conduct UI testing to ensure a seamless user experience across multiple browsers and devices.

Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

Implement and maintain automation testing frameworks, scripts, and tools to streamline testing processes.

Validate and reconcile data to ensure accuracy and consistency across financial datasets and systems.

Provide regular test reports and updates to project teams and senior management.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Proven experience as a QA Tester in the finance domain, with hands-on involvement in web-based UI testing and data validation.

Familiarity with testing financial systems, specifically Revenue Dashboards and P&L attribution reports.

Expertise in automation testing tools such as Selenium, TestNG, or similar platforms.

Proficiency in SQL and data analysis for validating financial datasets.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.

Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Agile or Scrum methodologies.

Certification in software testing is a plus.
