Job Title: SAP MM/Procurement Lead Consultant
Location: Remote
Duration: 6+ Months Contract


Note: Open for W2 Contract / Visa Transfers only


Job Description:
Project focus for Materials Management Procurement/Warehouse management: explore and implement SAP best practice processes in the MM procurement (Source to Pay) and warehouse management areas (SAP S4 V2023). Leverage SAP Fiori applications, Work Zone, SAP Mobile and task center.

Roles and Responsibilities/Activities/Tasks
Identifying gaps in exiting processes and making recommendations standard out of box functionality.
Identify new procurement capabilities not currently being leveraged and assist in the implementation.
Requirement Analysis: Understanding the client\'s business needs and translating them into SAP MM solutions. This involves conducting workshops, interviews, and meetings with stakeholders
Solution Design: Designing and configuring the SAP MM module to meet business requirements. This includes setting up material master data, vendor master data, purchasing groups, purchasing organizations, and pricing procedures
System Configuration: Configuring various aspects of the SAP MM module, such as procurement processes, inventory management, and material planning (SAP Material Management (MM), SAP ARIBA, Procurement (P2P) and Inventory Management (IM) systems)
Integration: Ensuring seamless integration of SAP MM with other modules like SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and FICO (Financial Accounting and Controlling)
Testing and Validation: Conducting system testing to ensure the configured solutions work as intended. This includes unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing
User Training: Providing training to end-users and stakeholders to ensure they understand how to use the SAP MM module effectively
Documentation: Creating comprehensive documentation for all configurations, processes, and user guides
Support and Maintenance: Offering post-implementation support to resolve any issues and ensure the system runs smoothly
Continuous Improvement: Identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes to enhance system efficiency
SAP Flexible workflow experience would be an asset
The consultant will also perform other services requested by client, for agreed consideration and duration.



The consultant must have:
A bachelor\'s degree in computer science or equivalent with 8+ years of related experience and continued professional development, or 12+ years of combined post-secondary education and related experience with continued professional development.
Knowledge and implementation experience with SAP procurement modules and processes
Experience in SAP S4 HANA V2023 functionality and innovations with hands-on experience in configuration (SPRO, Fiori etc.) specific to MM and ARIBA
Expertise in procurement processes: Source to pay process including: sourcing; requisitioning; outline agreements; info records; requisitioning via work orders
Expertise in configuration of inventory management and situation Handling process within SAP S4
Experience with Service Procurement, configuration and usage of service entry sheets and service masters. (knowledge with "unknown account assignment")
Automation or efficiency opportunities within procurement processes as it relates to usage of SAP processes
Expertise in moving from SAP Gui to Workzone/FIORI applications (translation from old to new)
Knowledge and understanding of other related modules SAP SD, SAP FICO/FICA

Signavio experience is an asset
SAP certifications in MM and ARIBA is an asset
