Cognizant Technology Solutions is currently seeking a highly skilled SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant who will be catering to the North America customers and involves supporting proactive and reactive business opportunities such as managed services and transformation. The individual will be closely working with our onsite sales / delivery teams, and participate in solution discussions, and workshops. **Role: SAP Transportation Management (TM) Consultant** **Job Level:** Manager **Location:** San Francisco, CA. Work from home - Hybrid. **Duration:** Full Time only **Job Summary:** We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Architect with 13 to 17 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in SAP TM-Subcontracting & Tendering, SAP TM-Freight Cost Management & Settlement, and SAP TM-Transportation Planning. Experience in the Automotive Industry and Industrial Manufacturing is a plus. This is a hybrid role with day shifts and no travel required. **Responsibilities:** + Lead the design and implementation of SAP TM solutions to meet business requirements. + Oversee the integration of SAP TM modules with other SAP and non-SAP systems. + Provide expert guidance on SAP TM-Subcontracting & Tendering, ensuring optimal performance and functionality. + Manage the configuration and customization of SAP TM-Freight Cost Management & Settlement to streamline cost management processes. + Develop and execute transportation planning strategies using SAP TM-Transportation Planning. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution and delivery. + Conduct thorough testing and validation of SAP TM solutions to ensure quality and reliability. + Provide training and support to end-users to maximize the effectiveness of SAP TM solutions. + Monitor and troubleshoot system issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime. + Stay updated with the latest SAP TM trends and best practices to continuously improve solutions. + Participate in project planning and status meetings, providing regular updates on progress and challenges. + Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations in all SAP TM implementations. + Contribute to the development of documentation and training materials for SAP TM solutions. **Qualifications:** + Possess in-depth knowledge and experience in SAP TM-Subcontracting & Tendering, SAP TM-Freight Cost Management & Settlement, and SAP TM-Transportation Planning. + Have a strong background in the Automotive Industry and Industrial Manufacturing, which is a plus. + Demonstrate excellent problem-solving and analytical skills to address complex business requirements. + Exhibit strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. + Show proficiency in project management and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. + Maintain a proactive approach to learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies. **Salary and Other Compensation:** The annual salary for this position is between $112,000 - $132,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
