DESCRIPTION

The AWS Recruiting team is seeking a talented, customer-focused sourcing recruiter with a passion for delighting clients and candidates to join our global recruiting organization. Our dedicated talent acquisition team plays a crucial role in identifying and attracting top professionals across all domains with a focus in software engineering. These talent acquisition specialists partner closely with AWS leaders to understand technical and operational requirements, driving candidate generation strategies and maintaining high hiring standards. This structure, supported by strategic talent acquisition efforts, enables Amazon to scale its operations effectively while adapting to evolving customer needs and technologies.

Successful recruiters on this team utilize their experience in setting benchmarks, forecasting and tracking against metrics, and prioritizing to hit customer SLAs. They thrive in an innovative, fast-paced environment, can roll up their sleeves, work hard, and have fun to get the job done. They draw on extensive knowledge of Talent Acquisition and functional areas of the business, forging dynamic relationships with business leaders and hiring managers.

Key job responsibilities
• Partner with hiring teams to execute sourcing and assessment approaches
• Source passive candidates through various channels including LinkedIn Recruiter, internal databases, and Boolean search techniques
• Build and maintain talent pipelines through proactive market research
• Track and report on key sourcing metrics and hiring funnel data
• Screen resumes and conduct initial candidate assessments
• Schedule and coordinate interviews with hiring teams
• Maintain accurate candidate records in ATS
• Support recruitment events and initiatives

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- 1+ years of corporate or search firm progressive recruiting or research experience
- Bachelor's degree, or 2+ years of full-time Amazon experience
- Experience with contact management system/applicant tracking system for sourcing, tracking and managing candidates
