We are seeking an experienced and passionate Vice President of Human Resources to join our team as a key member of the leadership group. This role is instrumental in driving HR strategies that support both business objectives and employee well-being. Reporting directly to the CEO, this position oversees critical HR functions, including talent acquisition, benefits, company culture, learning & development, and HR information systems (HRIS).
What You'll Do:
Strategic Leadership:
Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team, ensuring HR strategies align with business goals.
Develop and implement HR initiatives that foster employee engagement, performance, and professional growth.
Team Management:
Lead and mentor a team of HR professionals, fostering a culture of growth and accountability.
Identify and address talent gaps while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives.
Define key performance indicators to assess HR effectiveness and market competitiveness.
Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:
Partner with hiring managers to attract and retain top talent.
Support recruitment efforts using best practices and innovative hiring solutions, including global talent strategies.
Develop programs to enhance candidate pipelines and ensure timely hiring.
Learning & Development:
Oversee professional development initiatives that align with company goals.
Work closely with the Learning & Development team to implement impactful training programs.
Collaborate with department leaders to assess and address training needs.
Culture & Employee Engagement:
Partner with internal teams to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Lead engagement initiatives across multiple office locations and a remote workforce.
Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and use insights to enhance workplace experiences.
Compensation & Benefits:
Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation and benefits programs.
Manage employee benefits, including health, wellness, and retirement plans.
Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive rates and comprehensive benefits packages.
Provide clear and timely communication on benefits programs to employees.
Compliance & Policy Management:
Ensure compliance with employment laws, benefits regulations, workplace safety, and HR policies.
Stay updated on employment legislation and best practices.
Work with legal counsel to develop and update HR policies as needed.
HR Operations & Systems:
Oversee daily HR operations, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
Conduct audits to maintain accuracy in HR data and reporting.
Enhance HRIS functionality to improve employee experience and reporting capabilities.
Manage HR inquiries and employee requests through the HR ticketing system.
Handle employee relations, including performance management and disciplinary actions, in collaboration with legal counsel.
What We're Looking For:
10+ years of progressive HR experience, including leadership roles.
Proven track record of developing and executing HR strategies that drive business success.
Strong knowledge of HR compliance, employment law, and talent management best practices.
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification preferred.
Experience in change management and organizational development.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
Exceptional communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
